This has got to be by far, the best SNOW EVER for the Winterfest celebration in our beautiful Laurel Highlands! We’ve been around since the very first one in 1987 and every year, given the weather the events offer a unique challenge!
Pittsburgh’s ABC affiliate WTAE-TV Channel 4 teams up with Seven Springs to promote our winter activities and has been a great partner over the years. There are outside and inside events planned for kids of all ages! Here’s the schedule of activities so you don’t miss out on any of the FUN!!
Wags was out in the powder early this morning and here’s his snow report! Seven Springs is showing 10” of new snow, and it is much lighter than the last dump. This dry snow and high winds calls for full face protection and goggles. I skied most of the North Face and Gunnar area, riding on the Gunnar hi speed 6 pack, which is the best chair in the back as it is protected by trees most of the way up and is high speed so you are not on it long. Temps are forecasted to be below 30 all week so conditions should be excellent for the weekend. SKI YA!
