Seven Springs Resort, Union Vote?

Over the years Abe recalls at least one attempt to unionize a specific department at the Resort. During the time of the Dupre’s ownership it never happened. Full page ads  appeared from the Teamsters, Local Union #30 to Seven Springs employees in both the Somerset Daily American and the Greensburg Tribune Democrat Sunday editions this month.

Now the Union is vying for ALL FULL TIME EMPLOYEES. Seasonal employees do not qualify. They’re collecting cards to see if there is enough interest to petition the National Labor Relations Board for a vote. They are only required to have 30% of the cards returned to petition.
