Hidden Valley Sold to Seven Springs

It is official. Yesterday the final papers were signed turning ownership of Hidden Valley Resort over to the Nuttings, owners of Seven Springs. Today the parking lot by the Prudential office is filled and we can see people outside already working.  Eric Mauck CEO of Seven Springs Mountain Resort sent this letter out to priorty7 members this morning. Go to www.7springs.com to sign up for the priority7 updates and make sure you’re in the know!

Dear Hidden Valley Friends and Family,

It’s been an exciting day as the Seven Springs and Hidden Valley resort communities are now officially part of the same family. With that in mind, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome each and every one of you to our resort family.

I know many of you have questions and concerns about how this purchase will affect you personally and the resort. In the coming days and weeks, we will be sharing details pertaining to things such as season passes, ski/snowboard tickets, lodging, services, amenities and more.

The most important thing for you to know is that we are deeply committed to the long-term success of Hidden Valley, Seven Springs, the local community and the Laurel Highlands. Seven Springs has long held a deep appreciation for Hidden Valley and the family experience it offers.  Moving forward, we want to ensure that more and more guests have the opportunity to develop a lifelong passion for the outdoors.

Over the last five years, we have worked consistently to add to and improve the amenities and services at Seven Springs, which has resulted in Seven Springs becoming one of the top year-round resorts in the region. With that in mind, we will work hard to build on that success as we continue to move forward at Hidden Valley.

I would like to invite you to join us this weekend at Seven Springs for our 29th annual Autumnfest, a family-friendly celebration of all things fall. It’s a great opportunity to spend the day with your family enjoying the fall foliage, live entertainment, delicious festival food, kids’ activities like our hay bale maze and petting zoo, and the keepsakes and creations from more than 50 artisans and crafters. Each weekend has a new theme, making for a new festival every weekend. This year’s themes include Pumpkin Weekend, October 5-6; Chocolate & Chili Weekend, October 12-13, 2013; and Kids’ Halloween Weekend, October 19-20.

Thank you again for your support during this exciting time. We are proud to become a part of the Hidden Valley community and look forward to seeing you on the mountain very soon!
